Club Constitution
| 1, | The Club |

The club shall be called THE FRANKLEY BOWMEN ARCHERY CLUB |
|
| 2, | Aims of the Club |
|
The club and it's members aims are to promote and support a variety of events in the safe use and enjoyment of all forms of archery. Members are required to observe good sportsmanship and display good manners, in the club and on any functions or club promotional events. |

| 3, | Equipment |
|
Certain equipment is restricted and must conform to the types and events of that Society and it's rules. Please read the handbook of rules supplied by the Archery Society you may wish to shoot under for a particular event. e.g. THE NATIONAL FIELD ARCHERY SOCIETY, THE BRITISH LONGBOW ASSOCIATION or THE GRAND NATIONAL ARCHERY SOCIETY. |

| 4, | Membership |
|
The membership is open to any archer willing to abide by the Constitution, and paying the current affiliation fee. Unless stated, all members are affiliated to the National Field Archery Society. Affiliation fees due on the first day of March. |

| 4a |
(Expulsion of Members.) Members of the club whose conduct is inappropriate or who decline to abide by it's rules may be expelled or suspended by a resolution passed at a meeting of it's club members where their entrance fee and subscriptions may be forfeited. The member or members may have the right to appeal in person with any decisions effecting themselves providing that notice of such appeal be submitted in writing within seven days of notification of the decision. |
| 5, | Hunting |
|
Hunting live game with a bow and arrow is totally banned in this country. Anyone found doing so will have their membership to the club terminated. |

| 6, | Insurance |
|
The club holds it's own Insurance cover by The Sun Alliance Insurance Group. Limit of indemnity Public/Products Liability of GBP 5,000,000 (Five Million GB Pounds). The code of Safety set out by the club must be carefully observed by members at all times. |

| 7, | The Executive Committee |
|
The Executive Committee shall consist of the Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary. Individual members may be asked as necessary to assist in the day-to-day running of the club. The business of the club shall be conducted by the Executive on behalf of the Membership and in accordance with the democratic wishes of the club members. |

| 8, | Information |
|
Information will be circulated to club Members on club business and activities. Postal charges may be required from some Members. Annual accounts will be circulated at the end of the financial year. |

| 9, |
Decisions |
|
Members suggestions will be put to the Membership on nominated club nights and a majority vote taken when required. The Executive has final say on all proposals or suggestions. Members are expected to offer any help needed on club functions. |

| 10, | This Constitution |
| This Constitution may only be amended by a majority of 90 % (Ninety Percent) of the Club Membership. |
